About the Founder

​

 Daniel J. Porter is a Houston native. While growing up, he discovered that he had a gift of touch when he would be frequently asked to provide a therapeutic massage of Reflexology to his father (who suffered from a severe case of gout). Often times, the massages would bring such a sensation of relaxation, that it would cause him to sleep. Seeing the satisfaction of his father’s face and the effect that the services provided to the cause of his father’s ailment after the session created such an unexplainable feeling in him. He knew then that he had a God-given gift of touch and that he wanted to help aid people with that gift. In 2012, he went into studying Massage Therapy and Body Mechanics. He soon graduated from The College of Healthcare Professions with a degree as a Licensed Massage Therapist. With this degree, he had a vision…to start a business that would be a healing and relaxing agent to individuals seeking a solution to heal and those who simply would prefer to relax. The goal that stands tall in this business is simple…RELAX. With that simple goal in mind, he founded the Midas Touch Mobile Massage Service with the intent of relieving stress, pain, and anxiety that would leave the clients sense of GOLD.
